The house is a hundred plus year-old farmhouse that has been totally renovated without compromising its charm. Over the years it has been home to only two families: the John Jarvis family in the early years and our family for the past 36 years. It is a large welcoming house with plenty of space for the whole family. It sits on 12 acres of land with lawn space for croquet, bocce, badminton or just plain relaxing. Perennial gardens abound throughout the property and the back pasture with barn is home to our two horses.

There are several fieldstone framed gardens throughout the grounds. Depending on the season you will find lovely peonies, bee balm, cone flowers, lilies, hosta and many others.

Do you like a little backyard competition in the form of badminton, bocce, or croquet? There is plenty of green grass for all your favorite activities.

8 acres of woods are in the back of the property for those who like to explore. Crab apple trees directly in view from the rear rooms of the house lure deer in the morning and evening. So, be sure to keep an eye out for them and have your camera ready.
